The weblog in 2012 had 103.920 site views (2011: 72.824, 2010: 64.763), what makes a plus of some 40 %. Awsome!
We had visitors from 120 countries. Alone 4.615 from the US, which is a daily average of almost 13, but there also were visitors from states we never imagined that there were people who would have any interest for Jewish history in former Austrian and today Bavarian Swabia, such as Republic of Korea (74), Indonesia (56), India, Taiwan, Pakistan, Syrian Arab Republic, Saudi Arabia, Swaziland, Vatican City, Guam, Palestinian Territory, Bhutan, Brunei Darassalam and many others.
“Crunchy numbers“: “19.000 people fit into the new Barclays Center to see Jay-Z perform” as it says … “it would take about 5 sold-out-performances” … Well, sounds quite good, but who actually is Jay-Z?
Top referrers were: Alemannia Judaica 514, Wikipedia 245, Jewishgen.org 55, vvn-augsburg 50, augsburgwiki.de 49, bestatterweblog, 49, muenster.de 37, hagalil.com 30, sprachkasse.de 28, kokavim.wordpress.com 23, … and 61.353 request by search engines (40.000 by Google, only 93 by AOL and but already 64 by Google Mobile!)
Most requested search terms were: Augsburg, Pfersee, Ingolstadt, Judenhut, Synagogue Augsburg, אוגסבורג, Nuremberg, Königsplatz, Jewish Museum and lachoudisch …
Many thanks to all visitors and friends and best wishes for a happy and healthy 2013 🙂
