Just do your best

A Jewish man on the operating table awaiting a somewhat risky surgery and his son, a renowned surgeon, is scheduled to perform the procedure. As he is about to get the narcosis he asks to speak to his son.  

 “Yes Dad, what is the matter?”

Don’t be uptight, son, just do your best and remember, if anything happens to me …   your mother is going to come and live with you and your wife….”
